Baby Diaper Cake in a Purple Giraffe theme was created using 50 Luvs brand diapers sz. 1, and 3 of my handmade 2-ply flannel backed burp cloths. Secured to a 12" faaux silver scalloped edge cake plate, the diapers were wrapped with the burpcloths, layered with purple grosgrain ribbon and layered with giraffe print ribbon. Tier tops decorated with mixed paper shred, and 2 cut giraffes from the print of the fabric. Embellished with a pacifier, 2 washcloths, giraffe bathtub toy, Johnsn's baby lotion, shampoo, powder, and a baby spoon. Wrapped in protective cellophane, decorated with mixed curling ribbons, a party favor, and a gift tag. Measures approx. 11 1/2" x 19" to the top of the giraffe on the cake.
